The most important mechanical characteristics of our PUR torsion cables are: high tensile strength, tearing resistance, notch and abrasion resistance, resistance to reverse bending stress as well as cold flexibility. Also in the field of chemical resistance PUR shows much better values as other material (for example rubber or PVC) under same conditions. The outstanding chemical characteristics are: very good resistance against mineral oils, good resistance against alcohol -free benzines; storage in water and against a lot of solvents.
